There's Nothing Wrong with Silver!

Today we're taking a look at our second most popular shelving line. That's right, we're talking about that oh-so-popular, immaculately designed, internationally renowned, five-time Oscar nominee: the Speedi-BILT®!

Alright, that might have been a slight exaggeration. We don't really operate outside of the states. In all seriousness, the Speedi-BILT is a powerful shelving unit made popular by its simplicity. The only required components? Beams and posts. Even better, the Speedi-BILT offers a tremendous amount of uninterrupted storage volume. This makes it a favorite of those who need space to effectively organize bulky items, but seek to avoid the hassle of more intricate units.

There's no need for premium hardware like compression clips or special tools when it comes to assembling this multipurpose unit. Because the beams' rivets snap neatly into place on the slotted angle posts, you can expect to use nothing more than a mallet and screwdriver to erect the Speedi-BILT. Larger units are exclusively constructed using double-rivet beams and channels for added load-bearing strength. When necessary, support ties are added to complete the base structure. Shelves composed of particle board or similar materials are then installed to finish the assembly.

Depending on a number of factors, namely whether you've elected to use single or double rivet beams, the Speedi-BILT can handle capacities ranging from 200 to 1,000 pounds. The sheer versatility of this unit all but guarantees that we're continuously learning about new applications for it. While additional storage and reorganization are obviously the most common, our customers have also employed the Speedi-BILT to solve issues related to rotating inventories and storage flow. If you've been searching for space-saving, economical storage, you can breathe easy. You've found the Speedi-BILT.

Check in after a couple of weeks to learn more about our least well-known, but nonetheless unbelievably useful, line!

Expanding Upwards

Give me an M! Give me an E! Give me a Z! Give me, uh, another Z! Ah forget it, you know where this is going. Let's talk about mezzanines.

You may have only encountered the word as it relates to theater seating, but fear not. We here at Bilt are well versed in the art of industrial mezzanine design. While most popular with our customers in the automotive service industries, the only constraint on mezzanine applications is your imagination (and your budget, of course). We've certainly found quite a few uses for our own!

It's likely that you'll only build a mezzanine once in the lifetime of your business. Initiating that sort of project is never painless, and we understand the trepidation that accompanies such an undertaking. However, we promise that you won't be disappointed should you give us the chance to put some of those fears to rest. When you partner with us, you immediately gain access to skilled professionals with encyclopedic knowledge of mezzanine conception and construction. Our efforts from this point onward will be dedicated to providing you with economical, efficient systems that cater to your unique spatial requirements. What may have once seemed insurmountable will quickly prove to be nothing more than the next stage in your business' evolution.

If you'd like an evaluation of your basic mezzanine requirements, contact your Bilt sales representative. Their findings will be sent to our factory engineering staff, who will then provide you with a survey and recommendation. Know that, while we encourage you to consider other options, it is our opinion that no pre-cut assembly will able to effectively solve your industrial challenges. Besides, who wouldn't rather have a system created expressly for their specific requirements and safety concerns? You won't even have to break the bank! We hold our costs to a minimum by using standardized, production-line components.

Interested? Of course you are! You can thank us for the advice whenever. Stop by again for more information on who we are and what we do!
